Session Info

About the Session
My sessions generally take 1 - 2 hours depending on the number of subjects. I always make them as fun as possible allowing you time to relax and be yourself. I work mainly in a reportage or photojournalistic style which means that the images I take are as natural and un-posed as possible.

What to Wear
In my experience, solid colours work best for portrait photography. Girls in pink and boys in blue is always a winner. Group portraits work best if clothing is well co-ordinated, consider all dressing smart or casual, black tops or white.
Remember, you can always change clothes during the session to give you more options and I am happy to help if needed.

Venue for Session
The sessions are generally held in your own home which is where people feel the most comfortable. Local parks also make a great alternative and can offer fantastic photo opportunities.

Weather / Seasons
I will work with whatever the weather is like on the day to create fun and memorable portraits. All the seasons produce great backdrops for portraits. In autumn think heaps of golden leaves while winter is great for cute hats and woolly mittens. I love toddlers splashing in puddles too!
